Refund Policy

1. Overview
At EmodeFlow, we want you to be fully satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds are provided for our subscription plans. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Free Trial
- All new users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to Pro plan features.
- No credit card is required to start a trial.
- No charges are made during or after the trial unless you voluntarily select a paid plan.
- If you do not subscribe after the trial, your account is simply locked — you are never charged.
3. Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to the Service until then.
- After your billing period ends, your account will be locked (read-only) for 30 days. During this period, you can still export your data.
- After 30 days of inactivity, your workspace data may be permanently deleted.
4. Refunds
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for partial billing periods. When you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current month — no further charges are made.
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual billing period, and you retain full access until then.
4.3 Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refund is issued for the difference.
4.4 Additional Seats
Charges for additional team seats are prorated when added and adjusted when removed. Removed seats take effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Exceptional Refunds
We may issue a refund at our discretion in the following circumstances:
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical issue on our side.
- Duplicate charges: If your payment method was charged more than once for the same billing period.
- Extended outage: If the Service experiences a prolonged outage (exceeding 72 consecutive hours) that materially prevents you from using the platform.
- Unauthorized charges: If charges were made without your authorization (subject to verification).
6. AI Credits and Add-Ons
- AI usage credits included in your plan are non-refundable and do not carry over between billing periods.
- Purchased AI credit extension packs are non-refundable once activated.
- Unused extension packs that have not been activated may be refunded within 7 days of purchase.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact our support team:

- In-app: Use the support chat in your EmodeFlow dashboard.
Please include your account email, workspace name, and a brief description of the reason for your refund request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.
8. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Refunds are issued in the currency of the original transaction.
9. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving billing disputes promptly and fairly.
10. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If you are located in a jurisdiction that provides additional refund rights (such as the European Union's 14-day withdrawal right for digital services), those rights apply to the extent required by law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes do not apply retroactively to refund requests submitted before the update.
